Static Energy Meters

Rapid advancements in meter technology have brought electronic meters to the forefront, with utilities across Pakistan adopting them to reduce revenue losses.

Transfopower® has successfully designed and developed its own range of static single-phase (2-wire) and static three-phase (4-wire) whole current energy meters with multi-rate tariff functionality. These locally manufactured meters meet or exceed the specifications of electric utilities and have been approved for installation on their systems.

Static Single Phase Energy Meter

Salient Features:

  • Single Phase, Two Wire, 240V, 10(40) A, 50Hz, Accuracy Class 1.0
  • Meter constant 3200 impulses/kWh.
  • IP-54 compliant meter.
  • Starting current 40mA.
  • Operating Temperature: -40°C  to + 85°C
  • EEPROM (Non-volatile Memory) for Data retention
  • Meter complies with IEC Standards 62052-11 & 62053-21 and WAPDA Specification DDS-65 (amended to date)
  • UV-stabilized LCD for extreme temperature conditions.
  • Meter records Energy (kWh) in the absence of Neutral.
  • Advanced technology based on Microcontrollers has been used.

  • Three Phase four wire connection. 3 x 230/400V 50Hz  10(100)A. 1000 impulses /kWh, 1000 impulses/kvarh.
  • IP-54 compliant meter.
  • Starting current 40mA.
  • Operating Temperature: -40°C  to + 85°C
  • EEPROM (Non-volatile Memory) for Data retention
  • Meter Specifications comply with relevant IEC Standards 62052-11,62053-21 & 62053-23.
  • Compliance with WAPDA DDS-60 (amended to date) & K-Electric Specifications for kWh class 1.0 and kvarh class 2.0 (amended to date)
  • Multi-rate with up to 4 tariff TOU/TOD structure.
  • Optical communication conforming to IEC 62056-21 for data downloading.
  • UV-stabilized LCD for extreme temperature conditions.
  • Tampering information along with date and time stamp is recorded.
  • “OPENED” is displayed on the LCD if the meter cover is opened.
